– Discuss the frequency of “fear not” in the Bible
– Why God commands us to fear not?
III. The Reason for Courage (v. 10b)
– “For I am with you” – God’s presence is our comfort and strength
– “I am your God” – God’s sovereignty and power are on our side.
IV. The Promise of Help (v. 10c)
– “I will strengthen you” – God’s enabling power in our weakness
– “I will help you” – God’s assistance in our struggles.
– “I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” – God’s support and guidance.
